Wine & Spa Complex Starosel Hotel, Starosel

The hotel complex features beautiful surroundings and spacious accommodations, but the unclear spa offerings and unfriendly staff were notable downsides. While the food was delicious, the amenities did not fully meet expectations, especially concerning the spa facilities and children's areas.

Starosel Spa and Wine complex offers a beautiful escape with traditional Bulgarian architecture and beautifully maintained gardens. I had a lovely time enjoying the mineral pools and spa treatments, but the restaurant experience had some downsides, such as loud folklore music and less-than-exceptional food. It’s a great spot for relaxation and wine tasting, though be prepared for limited evening activities.
